Reproduced Localities

Challenging notions of authenticity and originality, American photographer Sherrie Levine’s work is a landmark of postmodern artistic practice. A new selection of images is presented in Pie Town at David Zwirner Gallery, London. The body of work includes After Russell Lee: 1-60, depicting daily life in rural New Mexico. This series continues Levine’s ongoing practice of photographing reproductions of artworks.
