Hydrozome is a large waterside rope sculpture of light, sound and interactivity. Vast amounts of illuminated rope are bound together and displayed on the steps of MediaCityUK. A microphone is dipped in the River Irwell, capturing the sounds underneath the surface of the water and transforming them from soundwaves into lightwaves.
