Next Generation 2016: Combining Photography and Philosophy

For the August/September edition of Aesthetica Magazine, we demonstrate our enthusiasm and support for emerging photographers through the third collaboration with London College of Communication. The Next Generation: Limitless Visions is an exemplary showcase of ascending talent who display new perspectives and minimalist influences in a time of uncapped technological innovation.

Richard Nicholson, one of the photographers included within the feature, talks to Aesthetica about his creative processes and the importance of the artist experience throughout their development. Nicholson’s work has been shown by Riflemaker at Photo London 2016 and since finishing the MA Photography course at LCC, he has been selected for Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2016 which will be showcased at ICA, London, in November.
