Patternity: Pattern Power/Superstripe, London

In a cultural festival of pattern exploration, Patternity presents Pattern Power/Superstripe at the London Newcastle Project Space from 6 April. The exhibition opens a series of events that explore the powerful presence of pattern and it’s impressive ability to positively inspire and connect humanity. Living in a world of patterns, the shapes and colours surrounding us can often be overlooked, this collection draws audiences to look at these familiar angles with a new perspective.

Importantly, the exhibition is curated by Patternity, who are an award-winning creative organisation that specialise in the exploration and application of pattern. Their recognition of the wonder of print has already inspired many through their blog and they bring the same skills and acute eye to this presentation. Audiences will be able to delve into an intriguing and tactile world of stripes, allowing them to celebrate pattern everywhere in the real world.

Aside from the exhibition, there will be a a diverse compilation of industry discussions, hands-on creative workshops and pop up interactive events. Patternity have united some of the most illuminating minds from the worlds of Fashion, Art, Design, Health, Science, Technology, the Environment and beyond to explore the shared impact of pattern on culture. Some of those involved include, Fred Butler, Holly Fulton and POP Magazine.
