Cross Road Blues, a new series by photographer Oli Kellett, offers unique perspectives on the American experience by capturing urban intersections across the US.
Isolated figures appear uncanny, caught in a process of waiting whilst standing against typically busy – yet now suddenly empty – backdrops.
Through a cinematic use of colour, light and perspective, the works focus in on individual yet universal stories, tapping into everyday narratives of dream and desire.
The works are on view at HackelBury Fine Art, London , until 23 February. Find out more here.
