As part of European Month of Photography 2018, Galerie Springer Berlin showcases works by photographers Ute Mahler and Werner Mahler. Encompassing fashion imagery, street photography and landscape compositions, the show traverses a range of creative periods, each engaging with daily life in Germany.
The central focus of the show is a selection of images from the publication Sibylle spanning 1977-1994, alongside early works and interdisciplinary collaborations. Offering insight into a unique visual language, Galerie Springer’s collection provides an unprecedented look at the duo’s creative practice across four decades.
