Thanarat Asvasirayothin

Bangkok-born, New York-based artist Thanarat Asvasirayothin explores materials through sound-employing sensors, found objects and elements to reflect upon the rich stimulation of noise.

Through performance projects such as Hydraulic Rhythms, she is interested in the ways that sound and movement mediate one another; she manipulates physical environments, harnessing the human body as an instrument.

Asvasirayothin has exhibited at the Tate Exchange, Central Saint Martins and Camden Arts Centre. She is currently studying for an MA in Art Business at Sotheby’s Institute of Art.
