Referencing composer John Cage’s interest in chance, Sherman Finch creates a dialogue between visual aesthetics, viewer interaction and auditory perception in his most recent work. Symphonic Infinitum is a series of pieces which harness order and chaos, as balls roll around inside a circular structure, activating random percussive sounds in the process.
