There is a strong sense of romanticism in Hannah’s work, mainly in the ways in which sound, performance and film are used as an outlet to address the innate longing for resolution to questions of individuality. SONNE is a performance to camera of a distilled, appropriated and fragmented version of How Soon is Now (1985) by The Smiths.
