Joomi Chung

Based on the Deleuzian idea of rhizome, Chung’s work investigates a form that emerges from a process of drawing ideas and sensations in three-dimensional space. Through the act of weaving lines, the individual structures in Swarm are fused together and become part of a gradually expanding mass, resulting in a concentration of lines that continually grow.
