Joanne Handley’s featured image Untitled (Orange) was created during a three-month residency in downtown Los Angeles, an opportunity that enabled access to remote high-rise rooftops, billboards and advertising signage. The artist is interested in the modern condition and the agency of art to provide a democratised space that encourages critical questions about identity, society and politics.
