Next Generation 2017: Reformed Archetypes

As part of a yearly collaboration with the London College of Communication, Aesthetica presents an exciting list of emerging artists who utilise photography as a medium through which to highlight, accentuate and solidify the transient intimacy of human nature.

Olivia Lynch is a visual artist living and working in London. Persistent themes throughout the work are cyclical natures in relationships and traditional portrayals of female psychosis in horror films. Each photograph reflects upon identity through a rose-tinted lens, looking at the various facets of emotions involved in private, domestic lives brought into the public realm.
