Next Generation: Limitless Visions

Showcased in the August/September issue of Aesthetica is the third edition of Next Generation, a feature that highlights the ascending talent of new practitioners, who, breaking into the industry at a time of uncapped technological innovation and social consideration, provide fresh and poignant perspectives on the medium. We interview Yunya Yin, one of the artists involved within this year’s feature about her practice, and her experience at London College of Communication.

Yin’s images do not conform to a clear and strict narrative, instead they favour a dreamlike state that provides the viewer with scattered fragments of ideas, giving them the power to perceive the works in their own way.
