Linear Sensibility

A monumental exhibition at the Musée de l’Elysée Lausanne, entitled The Beauty of Lines, collates over 1500 original prints from the history of photography. By focusing on formal composition, the collection transcends place and time, instead highlighting the geometric underpinnings of masterworks from the 20th and 21st centuries. The selection includes images by Bérénice Abbott, Eugène Atget, Robert Adams, Walker Evans, Vik Muniz, Man Ray and Lee Friedlander.

From 15 September. Find out more here.
