Intriguing Landscapes

Intriguing Landscapes

Recording ephemeral housing structures and their surroundings, Antoine Bruy’s series, entitled Scrublands, reveals an alternative, sustainable way of life.

Interested in those living outside the mainstreamthe photographer traveled across Europe and the US between 2010 and 2015, documenting the experiences of communities existing far away from cities.

The resulting images are intriguing, transitory and strikingly peaceful, offering new perspectives on the notion of home.

The collection is on display at FOCALE, Nyon, until 12 August. Find out more here.
