Effervescent Twilight

Effervescent Twilight
Brassaï’s evocative body of work examines daily life in Paris. His images of the nocturnal landscape, on display at Fundación MAPFRE Cultura, Madrid, make meaningful use of light in portraying the vitality of the city. The photographer contributed to the redefinition of photography as an artistic medium in the 20th century.
