Candida Höfer: Paris Revisited at VNH Gallery, Paris, looks to the city’s striking cultural interiors through the lens of a renowned photographer. Offering views inside grand theatres, libraries and churches – all devoid of human presence – the images are at once monumental and surprising, providing new perspectives on popular locations.
With a focus on architectural detail, the works demonstrate a visually striking use of symmetry, framing and light that is at once compelling and uncanny.
The exhibition is open until 21 December. Find out more here.
