Cellular Construction

Lumen is an interactive installation by Jenny Sabin Studio, winner of MoMA’s, New York, annual Young Architects Program. Comprising 1,000,000 yards of digitally knitted fibres, the large-scale cellular canopies emulate tubular structures that invite viewers into a micro-climate that evolves over the course of the day, with subtle shifts in color that imitate changing exposures.
