German photographer Michael Wolf (b.1954) documents and marvels at the vernacular culture of the modern metropolis. The weighted depictions of globalisation and growth come into question in Life in Cities, another exhibition that makes up The Experience of Territory strand at the 2017 Rencontres d’Arles festival, curated by Wim van Sinderen.
