Surreal Architecture

Surreal Architecture

With an interest in exploring urban and residential spaces, French photographer Laurent Chéhère (b.1972) traces the city streets using both reportage and conceptual imagery.

On view in a new show at Persiehl & Heine, Hamburg, The Flying Houses (2009-2015) series repositions Parisian buildings in the sky.

The surreal images expose hidden narratives, as characters appear dangling from the windows and unique details are brought into focus.

The exhibition runs 15 November-19 January. Find out more here.
