Swedish photographer Mårten Lange (b. 1984) has released a new series; The Mechanism is a despondent sequence of monochrome photographs that form a sci-fi story about contemporary life. Documenting multiple cities, the work provides a contemporary perspective on themes of technology, surveillance and urban society, providing a visual map of technological developments and their effects on human experiences.
