During Salone del Mobile, Milan, The Diner, a collaboration between Surface Magazine and architect David Rockwell, is unveiled. The project is a celebration of a uniquely American design trope, evoking the mythology of the great US road trip. The restaurant is a contemporary reinvention of a cultural icon, serving classic food whilst functioning as space for talks and events.
