RCA Secret 2014

RCA Secret 2014

After 20 years, the Royal College of Art Student Award Fund still has one of the most innovative ways of raising money. It asks the question: could you spot a Paula Rego or a Grayson Perry in a collection of 2900 other postcard size artworks?

In March, the RCA Secret will return. 2900 works by 1124 artists will be displayed at £50 each at the Royal College of Art Battersea. The miniature artworks can be viewed at the gallery and on the RCA website until March 22. They will then go on sale from March 22. Each postcard is signed on the back and the buyer won’t know who created it until they have bought it. Each registered buyer can purchase up to 4 postcards and they are sold on a first come first served basis.

Former contributors have been donated by David Hockney, Tracey Emin and Damien Hirst amongst other notable names. All the proceeds go to supporting emerging artists at the beginning of their careers.
