Sun City is a retirement community of around 37,000 people just outside of Phoenix, Arizona. Whilst preparing to shoot Sun City Poms, inspired by the residents, Antony thought about the American obsession with child beauty pageants – where one age group is trying to grow up, and another group strives to hold back the years.
