A move to London by photographer Tania Franco Klein led to an abiding fascination with public social behaviour and the manifestation of disconnection and isolation in crowded public spaces. Her images are staged but are rooted in reality, drawing upon contemporary anxieties and revulsions, as seen in her recent Pest Control series.
