ScanLAB Projects is led by Matthew Shaw and William Trossell, who share a common passion for highly crafted making and storytelling, manifesting in digital and physical works. Their primary medium is three-dimensional laser scanning – a form of machine vision. Displaced Witness explores the Mediterranean refugee crisis through the people and landscape of Lesvos.
