Rachel Pedder-Smith

Rachel Pedder-Smith records nature in minute detail in watercolour. She is well-known for illustrating dried specimens at The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Her artwork is included in many private and public collections worldwide. She has had solo shows in London and one of her pieces was selected to represent contemporary botanical illustration in the Watercolour exhibition (2011) at Tate Britain.

Commercially, Pedder-Smith’s paintings have been used by Liberty to produce several fabric designs for their Liberty London range, one of which was used by Dame Vivienne Westwood in one of her collections.
