Council Blossoms is part of a collection of work that portrays the beauty and decay of urban landscapes in the neighbourhoods of London, the artist’s hometown of Bristol and Manchester. IThe painting technique involves stepping back and slowing the pace, providing time to analyse thoughts and consider my role within the chaos outside.

Council Blossoms, 2014. Oil, acrylic, clay and plaster on canvas, 100cm x 70cm.
