Ming Lu

Ming Lu is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in London.

Her works assess how everyday objects that are often associated with women – such as cosmetics – are built around the body as icons for metaphor. As she elaborates: “As I transform the objects into metaphors of female bodies, I sometimes give the body parts a utilitarian function”.

Lu holds a Photography degree from the London College of Communication and is currently completing an MA degree at the Royal College of Art.
