Kev Howard’s photographic series d-FORMED explores the surgical and aesthetic aspects of his body, and its social implications. His work is an honest depiction of formed and reformed limbs, which helps guide the viewer to a sculptural contemplation of natural design.
He explains: “By taking away the context of flesh and replacing it with coloured latex and organic materials, the body is shown in a new way, one of shape and texture.”
d-FORMED will be exhibited at the Constantine Gallery in Middlesbrough, 6-24 November. For further details, click here.
