Taking insight from the enthusiasts’ world of collecting, Ian Robinson’s paintings set out to subsume and reveal the qualities in objects acculumated. By focusing on the theme of people’s passions, the work also celebrates the backstories of the collections themselves, uncovering the care and passion associated with key items.
