Gilda Jabbari

Gilda Jabbari elevates the everyday through collaged images.

Falling into the discourse between tradition and innovation, interior and exterior, her photographs recreate 13th and 18th century Persian miniatures, transforming objects, patterns and designs through a contemporary lens.

Her series Through the Eyvān merges these spaces and entities, with the object situating itself within the periphery of the interior and the exterior.

Jabbari has a master’s degree in Photography from the Royal College of Art, London.
