Edgar O Kim transforms an everyday sight – packaged meat – back into something uncanny and grotesque, through selective photographic cropping and representation. The objects are both the bodies of dead beings and a potential source of nutrition but, in their vacuum-packed form, exist in an in-between state where they are most unnoticed yet perhaps most interesting.
