Dragos Burghiu views art as a border between the known and unknown. Through abstract expressionism, he explores the idea of how the viewer can relate to a painting.
He notes: “By showing highly abstracting figures and landscapes, there is a space for ambiguity which allows me to ask the question: where does art lose its borders? I ask viewers not to draw any quick conclusions, but rather let the work move their eyes and emotions. Allowing for an internal dance only the viewer can experience.”
