Dee Glazer is a multidisciplinary artist who traverses the line between traditional materials and technology.
Using wood, gesso, ink and paint, Glazer reflects on the notion of craftsmanship in each composition, contrasted by the visual depiction of mechanistic structures.
Glazer notes: “These concepts, as well as my drive to make art, are linked to my background in philosophy. Making art allows me to play with these notions in a more abstract manner, allowing for the free play of associations and the transformations of subtle details. Drawing allows me to express ideas that I do not yet have the words for.”
