Dean Rossiter investigates how contradiction can become a vital tool for re-engaging in a world dominated by a seemingly endless stream of digital imagery and synthetic information. His bold and colourful works exist in a state of fixed fluidity, combining the immediacy of movement with the stasis of two-dimensional compositions.
Having received critical praise for his work, he was reviewed at his debut exhibition by the ICAC as a “young talent who is undoubtedly interesting and well worth keeping an eye on.”
Rossiter has since exhibited work in London, Miami, Shanghai, Hong Kong and most recently at Scope New York.
