Chris Langley’s paintings explore the landscape in a variety of formal and conceptual ways as they seek to evoke the otherworldly.
His pieces are based on drawings and photographs, mostly from the UK and South Africa, and are built up by layering patterns and mark making.
Langley has exhibited widely in the UK, South Africa and the USA, and has undertaken a variety of private commissions in both painting and sculpture. He completed his schooling in South Africa and his art training in the UK.
