Anikó Kuikka makes narrative moving-image installations about the absurd constructs of realities in mythologies and fairytales, holding a mirror to social experiences, such as trauma, creating archetypal characters who play out various power structures. White Sugar is a two-channel installation about xenophobia, misogyny and national identity inspired by Finnish folklore.
