San Francisco-based Alysia Davis romanticises an apocalyptic future. Her work is imbued with escapism, play and tumultuous colour harmonies.
Focusing on digital drawings and soft sculpture, the compositions are reminiscent of dreamscapes. Recurring themes include identity and self-gratification. Davis considers her practice to be a combination of styles, resulting in Pop-Povera.
