Post Forma, a major new commission by acclaimed Italian designer Martino Gamper, will launch at Leeds Art Gallery on 9 October 2015, as part of British Art Show 8. Post Forma is a participatory work, which will see Gamper collaborate closely with Yorkshire artisans; specialists in weaving, bookbinding, cobbling and chair caning. Centred around interactions with the public, the commission will explore shared craft techniques as social activities that bring people together through the flow of knowledge and traditional skills.
