Brooklyn-based artist has created a prolific body of influential work, which both engages young people with contemporary art and straddles the worlds of art and design. Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Wakefield, hosts the first UK museum exhibition of work by the renowned American artist, whose wide ranging practice includes painting, sculpture, graphic design, toys and prints. Spanning YSP’s Longside Gallery and Open Air site, the showcase features a series of the artist’s large, bright, graphic canvases, which are immaculately rendered in acrylic paint, alongside a selection of towering sculptures made from fibreglass and wood.
