Never Ending Stories, an interdisciplinary research project and exhibition at Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg examines the phenomenon of the endless loop in art, film, architecture, music, literature and cultural history. Providing a model of cyclical temporality that challenges conventional history, the exhibition tracks this omnipresent trope from the ancient Egyptian Ouroboros to contemporary multimedia installations. Artists featured include: Yayoi Kusama, Sarah Lucas, Marina Abramović and Bruce Nauman.
A review of the accompanying publication appears in the current issue of Aesthetica Magazine.
Until 18 February. Find out more: www.kunstmuseum-wolfsburg.de.
