Austrian photographer Gregor Sailer is interested in architectural phenomena. Investigating the concept of the Potemkin Village, the artist uncovers a complex and uncanny world of façades hidden in the contemporary landscape. The series displayed at BTV Stadtforum, Innsbruck, unearths artificial towns created for military training in the US, replica cities in China and vehicle testing tracks in Sweden.
