Cleaning Up, a film by Simon and Thomas Guerrier

Simon and Thomas Guerrier’s award-winning thriller Cleaning Up staring Mark Gatiss and Louise Jameson is now available to buy from bigfinish.com. With all profits from the sale going to help fund a feature-length Cleaning Up movie, the film is available in two disks ROOKIE – the film, for £1.99 and HITMAN is the film plus alternate “first cut” with writer/director commentary, a behind the scenes film, images gallery, soundtrack and scripts for £4.99.

Featuring Mark Gatiss (The League of Gentlemen, Sherlock) as hitman Mr Jackson with Louise Jameson (Doctor Who, Doc Martin) as Mrs Pellman, the flirty owner of a B&B, the short was shot over three days in south London. The concluding thriller is intelligently directed, stylish and at times, surprising. The supporting cast includes Tracy-Ann Oberman (The Infidel, Friday Night Dinner), award-winning comedian Tom Allen and Nicholas Briggs – voice of the Daleks.

At the Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2011 Cleaning Up won Best Thriller and in 2012 the Guerrier Brothers screened another thriller Revealing Diary about a self help book that is more than it seems. Cleaning Up is also their first film and won Film of the Year at Shortcutz London 2012. Simon and Thomas Guerrier have been making award-winning short films and documentaries since 2008. Their subsequent films include The Plotters, shortlisted by Virgin Media Shorts 2012 and currently playing in more than 200 cinemas around the UK, and Wizard, a Hat Trick Short and Funnies finalist 2013.
