From the 1950s to the 1970s, Robert Blomfield captured life in the UK through a thoughtful, bold and humorous approach to street photography. On view at the City Art Centre in Edinburgh, Robert Blomfield: Edinburgh Street Photography offers an insight into a rapidly changing city during the post-war period.
From images of the developing architectural landscape to snapshots of social gatherings and candid portraits, the body of work provides audiences with a lens through which to view a pivotal era of Scottish culture.
The show runs 24 November-17 March. Find out more here.
