Supermodel Helena Christensen stars in Vs. Magazine’s short fashion film, The Double. Christensen is the guest-editor on the newly released issue of Vs. Magazine featuring Julianne Moore, Emilia Clarke and Stacy Martin, amongst others. The short film is a captivating little piece, directed by Karen Collins and styled by Vibe Dabelsteen. Using a hazy colour pallete of the 1930s and elements of a silent black and white movie, The Double is glamorously beautiful.

This year the Aesthetica Short Film Festival opens up a new Fashion Film strand, offering opportunities to short filmmakers shooting with fashion in mind. The new strand is a celebration of the unique impact the clothing industry has had upon filmmaking and the innovative directors coming up with increasingly creative ways to present new collections.

Already an established and dynamic player on the UK film festival circuit, ASFF is a celebration of independent film from across the world, and an outlet for championing and supporting short filmmaking. ASFF 2014 is now open for entries. The deadline for submission is 31 May 2014.
