An Expressive Discipline

An Expressive Discipline

The fifth part of the Women to Watch exhibition series – organised by National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington – Heavy Metal looks to the physical and expressive possibilities of metalwork, disrupting the predominantly masculine preconceptions that surround the craft. The show features conceptual large-scale installations and small objects formed from iron, steel, bronze, silver, gold, brass, tin, aluminum, copper, and pewter.

Until 16 September. Find out more here.
