A Multimedia Investigation
An exhibition of work by Yto Barrada at Pace/MacGill Gallery, New York, features a photographic project created in the artist’s hometown, Tangier. The series documents the region’s urban and psychological transformation, exemplifying an ongoing interest in personal and political narratives of displacement. The multi-disciplinary show also offers installation, sculpture, video works, books and textiles.
