Recording cultural landscapes across the world, Austrian photographer Alfred Seiland’s (b. 1952) body of work taps into the tradition of New American Color Photography. The meticulously composed compositions offer a bright synthesis of colour and light, recording the urban vernacular of the US and beyond.
Now on display at Albertina, Vienna, the collection offers viewers a nostalgic yet strikingly contemporary vision, combining analog techniques with modern aesthetics.
Until 7 October. Find out more here.
